Tie-Dye Orchids

Have you ever heard of a Tie-Dye Orchid? They are SOOOOO gorgeous! They were the theme flower for a wedding I did in late August. They are tropical, and require a lot of attention, but when they are in the spotlight, they shine!

Rustic Chic

Here are some pictures of the wedding arrangements I did last week! Hopefully I can get some of the wedding photo's to post up here in the future.

The wedding was rustic chic themed. The reception was held in a old fashioned barn, and the color scheme was kept in the neutrals- ivory, beige, navy, and gold. Most of the table arrangements were going into mason jars. I stuck to mostly wildflowers, and got to use lavender! The arrangements smelled so nice! Enjoy!

Wild

My biggest achievement as of late is that 'Katie Brown Floral' is now a registered business with the state of Utah! I have three weddings in the next two months, and I can't wait to get arranging!

I've got a beautiful bride who is getting some bridals taken today, so I made her a wildflower bouquet and her fiance a matching boutonniere. They are getting married in three weeks, and I can't wait to do the rest of their flowers for the big day! I used the leftover flowers in the third arrangement. Here are some sneak peaks!!

Flowers used: David Austin garden rose, Gypsophilia 'Million Star' (baby's breath), Queen Ann's Lace 'Chocolate', fresh wheat.

If you or someone you know is looking for flower arrangements in Utah Valley, let me know! I can do everyday arrangements, weddings, or any other event. Email me at katiebrown@byu.edu.

E&E Overvliet Wedding

My sister got married a few weekends ago, and I was able to help do her flowers! With ample help from the fabulous Laura and Alex Wolfe, they turned out really beautiful. I don't have many pictures yet, but here are a few of the bridal bouquet. The colors were red and gold, so I decided to spray all the foliage green with a just for flowers color spray. Also, I sprayed the inside of the anemones. Flowers/foliage used: tea roses, tulips, anemones, ranunculus, and Israeli ruscus.
